The ASL team have been helpful with all the aspects of Logistics. The team has demonstrated their expertise and flexibility time and time again leading up to the project analysis and the eventual execution. We see that the team lead by Capt Pappu Sastry is well motivated and eager to learn. For logistics related and non logistics or even for mining related matters, when we discuss with him, we get the confidence that the work will get done. He is thinking long term and able to provide us with some flexibility in changing scenarios. The knowledge within the team is impressive. They are not just working for our project with dedication, several of the team members are also doing part-time courses from excellent institutions in Corporate Governance, Shipping Knowledge and in financial fields. The management of the operations is proactive and they are able to provide us with a world class SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) designed for our specific project. We are comfortable with their ability to prioritize every client with a dedicated team to provide service project-wise with accurate compartmentalization of Operations and Accounts.

We are owners of Floating Cranes, Transhippers, Tugs, Barges and various offshore floating equipment. We have operations from office in Dubai to concentrate on the Middle East and Africa businesses. We are working with ASL since late 2022. Till now our experience has been that we are treated as partners. When there is a problem there is no blame game. There is always there is a discussion to know how to find a solution and how to reduce losses due to the problem. Focus is always on how to make sure that the project is successful and how can we change things to ensure smooth. They have a small team handling our project. So, it is easier to know the roles and communicate with the right person. We are hopeful that this relationship will grow as the years pass.

We are local partners of ASL in Guinea, Ghana and Sierra Leone. We have worked with ASL Africa businesses. We are presently doing some long-term businesses with ASL in Guinea, Ghana and Sierra Leone handling Bauxite and Iron Ore. ASL and Capt Pappu Sastry relationship is very important to us. Capt Pappu Sastry as the CEO is very hands-on. He seems to know West Africa well. He is able to balance the relationships with mining companies and other players in that market. The culture of ASL is one of the best we have seen in the countries they work with us.
